Product Description

Hi Yield Triple 16  - (16-16-16) is a traditional, all-purpose fertilizer that contains equal amounts of each major nutrient:  Nitrogen, Available Phosphate, and Soluble Potash.  This ratio is formulated to help plants thrive throughout their growing season.  Can be used for lawns, trees, shrubs, evergreens, flowers, fruits, nuts, citrus and vegetable gardens.  Water thoroughly after application.  Covers up to 4,000 sq. ft.

Can be used to help establish new lawns, when seeding.  If using to help establish a new lawn (when seeding), use on 3,200 sq. ft.  Apply, work into the soil, then plant the grass seed.  On established turf, 20 lbs covers up to 4,000 sq ft. Water in after application

This product can be used as a substitute fertilizer for 10-10-10.

HOW TO USE:
Water thoroughly after every application. Avoid contact with trunks and stems of plants. 1/2 lb. equals 1 cup.

For Lawns:
For established lawns: Fertilize with up to 2 cups for every 200 sq. ft. or the entire bag for 4,000 sq. ft.
For new lawn establishment: Apply up to 2 1/2 cups for every 200 sq. ft. or the entire bag on 3200 sq. ft. and incorporate to a depth of 2-3".

For Trees:
Fertilize trees in the early spring as buds break. Make a second application 6-8 weeks later. Apply a fall application when leaves begin to turn color and drop. Apply at drip line and outward, not up against the trunk.
For smaller trees (less than 3" in diameter): Apply 1/2 lb. per inch of diameter.
For larger trees: Apply 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. per inch of trunk diameter. Measure tree diameter 3-4' above the ground.
For evergreen trees: Apply at a half rate.

For Fruit and Nut Trees: Fertilize fruit and nut trees 2ce per year. Just before bud break in the spring and again in the fall after leaves begin to drop. Apply evenly under drip line, not up against the trunk of the tree.
For Fruit or Nut trees 5 years or younger: Apply 1/2 lb. per 3 ft. of height
For Fruit or Nut trees that are older: Use 3/4 lb. per 3 ft. of height, with a maximum of 4 1/2 lbs. per tree.

Shrubs and Small Evergreens:
Fertilize shrubs in spring and fall, occasionally a mid-summer application may be desired. Always stay away from the stems and leaves.
For shrubs under 6 ft.: Apply 2-4 tablespoons evenly under the branches.
For shrubs over 6 ft.: Apply 1/4 cup.

Flowers and Vegetables:
Before planting, incorporate 2 cups per 100 sq. ft.
After establishment of plants, apply 1/4 cup per 25 ft. row, keeping it 3 inches away from the stems and leaves. Repeat application every six weeks.
Avoid the temptation to apply more, this can have an adverse effect.
