An exciting oakleaf introduction with beautiful white flowers that age to pink and a dense, compact, non-flopping habit.  Lustrous, dark green foliage is resistant to leaf spot and turns a fantastic orange-red in fall.  Exfoliating tawny-brown bark adds winter interest.  This is a classic native flowering shrub great for groupings and mass plantings.  Flowers are great for fresh cut arrangements.

For planting hydrangeas we recommend using either Mahoney’s Compost Planting Mix
or Fox Farm Planting Mix.
For best flower production, plant in a location that allows for full morning sun with dappled shade in the afternoon. Mulch lightly. Use of soil ammemdments is recommended. Water deeply and regularly the 1st year, especially in hot, dry weather. After 1st year fertilize in spring or early summer with Espoma Holly-tone.
Prune in summer after flowering.
